Sounds Better

The critically important Digital-to-Analogue conversion stage in Majik DSM features Linn’s proprietary precision clocking and upsampling, to more accurately generate the music signal before it’s sent on to the integrated amplifiers. These innovative Class D amplifiers reduce noise and distortion dramatically – and with improved efficiency – versus conventional amplifiers.

Majik DSM features, as standard, Linn’s unique room correction software Space Optimisation. This powerful tool means you are guaranteed the best performance possible, no matter the size, shape, or construction of your living room.

Majik DSM contains a sophisticated power supply and circuit boards designed and populated by Linn – entirely in-house. These are mounted on a robust chassis, formed of precision-punched and folded aluminium – which lends Majik DSM superb isolation for its sensitive internal components. The resultant improvement in sonic performance is bolstered further by three solid-steel feet, on rubber pads, which reduce unwanted vibrations and increase overall stability throughout the product.

Looks and Feels Better

A stylish and subtly curvaceous black outer sleeve is formed from a single piece of 2mm-thick aluminium. It’s punched, cut, and precisely folded to exceedingly high tolerances before being sprayed with a powder paint coat, cured to a satin-like sheen, and finished with a crisp, UV-printed Linn logo. All in-house.

The outer sleeve transitions pleasingly to an optical-grade cast acrylic fascia, which floats on Majik DSM’s front. This in turn houses a sharp, monochrome display – which illuminates unobtrusively to inform the listener of track information before fading back to invisibility.

Majik DSM’s clean frontal aspect is crowned by a cut-glass, multi-function, rotary control dial; a beautiful and practical feature that welcomes regular physical interaction with your music system.

Linn writes all of their own software in-house. The software is constantly evolving. You’ll benefit from new features and performance enhancements through regularly released, free-of-charge, over-the-air updates downloaded straight to your Majik DSM.

Access high-resolution platforms with vast libraries like Qobuz, TIDAL, and Deezer HiFi; Spotify, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, airable and TuneIn radio – browse, curate playlists, and listen to your music however you choose, using Linn App on tablet, smartphone, or computer. 

You can also control the Majik DSM using the cut-glass control dial to crank up the volume, switch inputs, and skip tracks. A standard Linn IR remote control is also provided.
