Upgrading your Linn speakers to Aktiv is a great way to improve performance and also provides a significant step on the way to the ultimate upgrade of Exakt.

Aktiv crossover cards fit inside Linn power amplifiers and split the signal before it's amplified, feeding a dedicated channel of amplification for each drive unit and bypassing the passive crossover inside your speakers.

This significantly reduces the noise and distortion associated with passive crossovers and also unlocks further upgrade possibilities - with your speakers Aktiv, you have all the amps needed to go to the next level using an Exaktbox.

Majik and Akurate Power Amplifiers

Linn Mono Aktiv Cards

Linn Mono Aktiv cards are fitted to LK100 and Klout amplifiers.

Linn Stereo Aktiv Cards are fitted to LK85 and LK140 amplifiers.

Linn LK100 Aktiv cards

The LK100 accepts two mono Aktiv cards. The Aktiv cards in an LK100 amplifiers are mounted on a bracket fitted internally within the amplifier

Mono Aktiv Adaptor

Linn provide an adapter card that allows current Aktiv cards to be fitted to older Linn amplifiers (Klout, .LK etc)

The AV5125 can be fitted with one Mono-Aktiv & two Stereo-Aktiv modules (= 5 channels),
