The Pienza 2 is a mostly re-thought and re-designed system which takes the performance of Rosso's slim design bookshelf up to the next level. It definitely performs out of its physical size. 

Acoustic Design

Pienza 2 builds on its predecessor’s rear-firing loading system with a 10% larger enclosure, delivering deeper bass and reduced distortion. The 5.25” mid-woofer has been re-engineered with an improved motor venting system and refined suspension materials for greater low-frequency authority and clarity. The 1” neodymium wide-surround silk dome tweeter, praised for its performance in the previous model, has been retained and further optimised with a newly developed crossover, ensuring a more seamless integration with the mid-woofer.

Cabinet

Like its sibling Certaldo, Pienza 2 features an advanced enclosure design that blends mechanically distinct materials—HDF, rubber, and aluminium—using the layer constrained technique. This sophisticated construction significantly enhances rigidity and damping, minimising unwanted resonances and allowing the drivers to perform with exceptional clarity and dynamics.

Custom Stand

To fully realise Pienza’s acoustic potential, an optional handcrafted stand has been developed. Designed for both aesthetics and performance, it features a discreet bottom plate with adjustable spikes for precise leveling and stability on various surfaces. The stand’s column is filled with fine marble chips, adding mass and providing excellent resonance damping, ensuring an optimal listening experience.
