Connect a wide range of audio electronics with this AudioQuest Yosemite JIS > 2-Male RCA analogue interconnect, meticulously designed for outstanding flexibility and versatility. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors minimise distortion, FEP Air-Tube insulation preserves dynamic contrasts, and a Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation efficiently dissipates high-frequency noise for cleaner, clearer, more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors

Solid conductors prevent electrical and magnetic strand-interaction. PSC+ Solid-Copper minimises distortion caused by grain boundaries and maximises linear RF Noise-Dissipation.

Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation

Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation minimises radio-frequency noise masking effects.

FEP Air-Tube Insulation

Positive conductors benefit from almost no contact between metal and its FEP insulation, which is notable for its superior dielectric constant and minimal signal interference. Negative conductors benefit from intentionally “lossy insulation” — no air and no FEP helps maximise the negative connection’s different job.

72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)

Insulation is also a dielectric that can act like a shunt-filter. Biasing minimises dielectric-noise and linearizes the filter, significantly improving wide-bandwidth dissipation of induced RF noise.

Direction-Controlled Conductors

All drawn metal strands or conductors have a non-symmetrical, and therefore directional, grain structure. AudioQuest controls the resulting RF impedance variation so that noise is drained away from where it will cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. When applicable, arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality. For most models of AQ cable, the arrows not only indicate the direction that optimises metal-directionality as part of Noise-Dissipation, but also indicates non-symmetrical attachment of shield and GND in order to optimise full-system performance. A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.

Cold-Welded, Direct-Silver Plated Pure Red Copper Terminations

Direct-Silver Plating is optimised for sound, using no underlying layer of distortion-causing nickel, while the highly effective cold-weld process avoids sound-degrading solder.
